How To: Consign your Mountain Bike
Have a used mountain bike that you no longer need or want? Consigning it is a great way to sell it, make some money and pass along the adventure of riding! Consignment allows you to sell your bike without the stress of marketplace, craigslist and reach a large market with little effort on your side.
Ready to consign? Check out these steps before bringing your bike in.

Clean your bike: Before you consign your bike, it’s important to give it a thorough cleaning. This will make it more appealing to potential buyers and increase the chances of a sale. Use a mild detergent and water to clean the frame, tires, and other components. Dry the bike with a clean towel and make sure it’s in good condition.

Get a tune-up: . We ensure that your mountain bike is in good working condition and ready for sale. A tune-up may include adjusting the brakes and gears, replacing worn parts, and lubricating the chain. Customer is responsible for the cost of any parts or labor required to sell bike.

Determine the sale price: We’ll work with you to determine the selling price of your bike, but it’s a good idea to have a general idea of its value. Make sure you add in the value of all upgraded components.

Call us and ensure we’re accepting bikes! Outside of our summer season, we have limited space dedicated to bikes.

Sign a consignment agreement: This contract will outline the terms of the sale, such as the commission rate and the consignment term.

Sit back and wait without the stress of messages and parking lot meet ups! After your bike is officially up for sale, it’s just a matter of waiting for it to find it’s new home!
